Portfolio piece made during my time at Futuregames. 

This was a fun little project where I wanted to explore using EmberGen to make stylized explosions!

By using Blender's compositor and a dither node by 1oodrips, I pixelated and dithered my flipbooks. In Unreal I used a typical VFX workflow where I made a master material for all my flipbooks, decals, and particles and created material instances from that.

It was super fun to play around with blueprints as well to get the grenade-throwing logic to work properly with my VFX.
